About us
Recipe.food is your AI recipe advisor. Tell us how much time you have and what is in your fridge — we pick something from the corpus and send you into cook mode.
Who is behind this
Recipe.food is operated by Aurmel GmbH in Zug, Switzerland. We use artificial intelligence to build the recipe corpus the advisor picks from. There is no individual editorial review — not of quantities, cooking times or food safety. Please check cooking times and core temperatures yourself, especially for meat, fish and eggs. We don’t invent people and we don’t invent ratings: ratings come exclusively from real user votes.
What makes Recipe.food different
Most recipe sites are a pain on mobile. We rebuilt the cooking experience from the ground up for the kitchen:
Swipe Cook Mode
One tap turns your phone into a full-screen guide. Swipe through the recipe step by step — no searching, no losing your place while scrolling.
Ingredients always within reach
Bring up the ingredient list anytime with a tap — on desktop it stays visible as you scroll. Tick items off right in the list.
Screen stays on
Your display won’t switch off while you cook. Hands in the dough, the recipe always in view — no constant tapping.
Portion calculator
Set the number of servings you want — every quantity recalculates automatically. No more doing math at the stove.
How this works
Corpus
The recipe collection is written by AI. There is no team researching dishes or developing recipes.
Advisor
You give time, servings, cuisine and fridge. The advisor picks a recipe from the corpus — it does not invent one.
No individual review
Recipes go live without individual editorial review. Please check cooking times and temperatures yourself.
Imagery
All images are AI-generated and serve as illustration only. So does the video on the home page.
Transparency
We’re honest about how Recipe.food is made: our recipes are generated by AI and not individually reviewed, and every image and video on the site is AI-generated and serves as illustration. We think saying that plainly beats claiming a review that does not happen.
